Personal Profile

I have always been passionate about researching new and exciting topics, so my main interest lies in news and feature writing.  I have recently taken on the editor’s position of my University magazine, emphasising my self motivation and dedication to writing comprehensive and interesting stories.

My open minded approach, combined with a good sense of humour is something I value, whilst my determination and punctuality makes me a hard-working and reliable employee.  Meeting deadlines is something I regard highly, and was able to experience the pressure whilst completing a fortnight of work experience in both a daily and weekly newspaper.  I take pleasure in completing detailed and well presented work, as well as remaining polite, happy and healthy.

I enjoy listening to music, attending concerts, going to the cinema and reading, particularly crime fiction. I have also recently returned from five months travelling round the world, visiting Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, The Cook Islands and Los Angeles.
